Please Note:
- There are no facilities to withdraw cash at Sugarloaf. The nearest ATM’s are at the Ngcwanguba Store (18km from Coffee Bay – During working hours), and also in Mqanduli (70km away).
- Children are permitted out of season
- All rates are subject to change without prior notice.
Bookings secure your stay
There are currently NO en-suite bathrooms
To add to your peace of mind, our facilities are all located within a gated establishment, with security guards and dogs patrolling the grounds at night.
Why kids only during off-season?
When we said this is the WILD Coast, we meant it… imagine a crowd of (mostly) young people having a good time… yup, you’ve guessed it. It can get pretty wild inside the camp over peak season, never mind outside. (We’ve all been young, eh?) So your kids may be exposed to what ‘responsible parents’ would call ‘unsuitable situations’, and the young crowd having their parties may feel that their style is being cramped by having kids around. So… we’d love to welcome you AND your kids, but rather come visit when our Wild Coast is a Not-quite-so-wild place, ok?
Why no pets? We love pets in general, but please don’t bring yours along to Sugarloaf. This is, after all, the WILD Coast… so either your pet will destroy our natural biodiversity (not good!), or our natural biodiversity – or our dogs! – may decide to eat your pet (also not good!).
